2024 Season Notes:
04/07/2024 Shafter Tournament Makeup Date:
Hello everyone, after having to cancel/rescheudle the 04/07 tournament on Shafer, and trying to navigate around other tournament trails in the area, we have found a makeup date for the 04/07 tournament. This tournament has been rescheduled to Saturday June 22nd on Shafer. This one will be going out of the Big Monon ramp per usual.

Hello everyone, After much deliberation and talking with local authorities such as SFLECC/NIPSCO we have decided to error on the side of safety and caution and we are CANCELLING/RESCHEDULING our upcoming tournament on Sunday April 7th on Shafer due to the flooded waters, floating debris, and upcoming weather. Please check our Facebook page (USA BASSIN Lake Shafer/Lake Freeman) and here on our USA Bassin webpage for more updates as a reschedule date is already in the works.
This was not an easy decision but safety is our number one priority. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have. Thanks!
2024 Freeman/Shafer Division Notes:
On behalf of myself (Kurtis Bowsher) and my partner Sam Ryan, we are excited to be part of such a great group of teams for the 2024 season. This division has a strong group of teams and we aim to keep it that way and improve it any way that we can! Our 2024 sechedule can be found within our division tab along with our regional being scheduled for 11/10/2024 on Shafer. If you have never had a USA Bassin membership before or if you haven't been a member since 2020, then your $30 membership per person ($60 per team) is FREE for this upcoming season! If you are planning on prepaying for your tournament entry before hand via check in the mail or some other form of payment, please reach out to me before doing so. I can be contacted anytime via text or call at 574-581-0812. The entry for our tournaments is $105+$15 ramp fee = $120 for everything including big bass pot and the Uncle Sam Bass challenge.
Both the ramps that we will use for our tournaments this year have a $15 launch fee. If you are interested, ramp passes for the Big Monon ramp on Shafer are $200 and the Tall Timbers ramp on Freeman are $175 for the 2024 year. If you would like a pass for either ramp, please reach out to Sam or myself and we will direct you to whom you need to contact to get one.
This will our first season as USA Bassin directors and i'm sure it'll take some time to iron out any kinks that we may run into, so please bear with us.
